NAIROBI, KENYA – 23.04.2024 – The Fintech Association of Kenya is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Molla to its advisory board for a two-year term. Molla, currently the Managing Director at MDP-Africa, brings over two decades of experience in banking and fintech, including significant roles at Barclays Bank, now Absa, MasterCard and American Express where he supported operations and expansion across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
Molla will harness his extensive knowledge in fintech and payments technology in his advisory role to support the association's strategic initiatives. He aims to strengthen market expansion, technological innovation, and regulatory compliance, as well as enhance community engagement and financial literacy. His expertise will be pivotal in guiding Kenyan fintech startups through global market expansion, facilitating international partnerships, and advocating for supportive regulatory frameworks.
Frank Molla commented on his new role, stating, “It’s an honor, to join the industry-shaping & recognized Fintech Association of Kenya. I will actively contribute to its success through thought leadership, advocacy, meaningful financial wellness and sustainability initiatives together with other payments leaders from Africa.”
